Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 75 Him handles information when you use the 75 Him iOS app and the website at 75him.app. We wrote this to match the app's current storage and photo behavior.
Summary
- 75 Him does not sell your personal data.
- 75 Him does not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Your challenge tasks, logs, profile details, share code, friends, and uploaded image records are synced to our backend so the app can work across sessions and power friend accountability.
- Photos are saved locally on your device. Photos used for profile or proof/accountability features may also be uploaded to our backend image storage.
- Non-profile challenge images are scheduled for backend deletion after about 24 hours. Profile photos are kept until you replace them, remove them, or delete your account.
Information We Collect
Account and profile information. The app stores a randomly generated installation ID, your display name, age, and share code. The installation ID lets the app connect local data to backend records without requiring an email login.
Challenge information. We store your selected challenge length, start date, tasks, task colors, task completion logs, completion times, photo filenames, and app activity events such as task added, completed, reordered, archived, or deleted.
Photos and image metadata. When you add a profile photo or proof photo, the image is stored on your device. If the photo is uploaded for app features, we store the image in Cloudflare R2 and store related metadata in Convex, including image kind, filename, task ID, date, content type, byte size, upload time, and moderation status.
Friend and safety information. If you use friend features, we store friend requests, friend connections, share-code searches, reports, blocks, and report reasons if provided.
Subscription information. Purchases, subscription entitlement status, renewals, restores, and related customer information are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive subscription status needed to unlock paid features.
Device and technical information. We may store app platform, app version, timestamps, and service logs needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app. Our service providers may process standard network information such as IP address as part of delivering the service.
Photos and Moderation
Photos are personal. 75 Him uses photos to support profile identity, proof photos, and friend accountability. Uploaded images are checked using OpenAI image moderation. If moderation flags a photo as disallowed, the app may reject the upload and delete the uploaded backend image. We store moderation status, model, and flags so we can audit what happened.
Photos are shared only through app features, such as friend accountability views or profile previews. Friend features may show your profile photo and recent approved proof photos to people who can view you in the app.
How We Use Information
- To provide challenge tracking, streaks, calendar views, proof photos, and profile features.
- To sync your app data with the backend and restore your account by share code where supported.
- To let users find, add, accept, remove, report, and block friends.
- To moderate uploaded photos and protect users from unsafe or abusive content.
- To provide and verify subscriptions and paid access.
- To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the app.
Where Information Is Stored
Some information is stored locally on your device using iOS app storage, including UserDefaults and the app's Application Support photo directory. Backend app data is stored using Convex. Uploaded images are stored using Cloudflare R2. Subscription processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Image moderation uses OpenAI.
Data Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the app: Convex for backend data, Cloudflare R2 for image storage, OpenAI for image moderation, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and Apple for App Store purchases and system services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention and Deletion
Non-profile uploaded challenge images are scheduled for deletion from backend image storage and image records after about 24 hours. Profile images are retained until replaced, removed, or your account is deleted. Backend account records, friend records, reports, blocks, activities, snapshots, image records, and stored image objects are deleted when you use the in-app delete account flow and the backend deletion succeeds.
You can delete your account in the app from Profile, then Delete account. This removes your profile, photos, task history, friends, reports, blocks, and account data from this device and our backend. You can also contact us at freya@frederickjames.net.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to grant camera or photo library access in iOS Settings.
- You can use the app without adding photos to every task, depending on your challenge setup.
- You can delete all local photos from the app where that option is available.
- You can remove, report, or block friends in the app.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children
75 Him is not intended for children under 13. The app enforces a minimum age of 13 when saving account profile age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
International Use
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws different from your local laws.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above when we make material changes.
