Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 75 Him handles information when you use the 75 Him iOS app and the website at 75him.app. 75 Him is an accountability and social app for men to find nearby accountability partners, join or create groups ("tribes"), and communicate in app chats.

Information We Collect
Account and identity information. We may collect your Apple sign-in identifier, a backend installation ID, display name, age, friend code, and basic app account records. We use this to create and maintain your account and connect your app installation to backend data.
Profile information. We collect information you choose to add to your profile, such as profile photo, bio, country, city, social handles, interests, activities, and profile preferences such as whether to show exact distance.
Location and city information. During onboarding you choose a country and city. If you grant iOS location permission, we may use your current location to show nearby users and tribes, calculate local member counts, and place tribes. If you do not grant location permission, the app uses the city you selected as a fallback where possible.
Social and community content. We collect content you create or submit in the app, including tribe names, tribe descriptions, group photos, tribe locations, chat messages, reports, block records, friend/add records, and moderation reasons if you provide them.
Photos and image metadata. When you add a profile photo or group/tribe photo, the image may be stored on your device and uploaded to backend image storage. We may store image metadata such as filename, image kind, content type, byte size, upload time, and moderation status.
Subscription information. Purchases, subscription entitlement status, renewals, restores, and refunds are handled by Apple and may be managed with RevenueCat. We receive the subscription status needed to unlock paid features such as private messaging, local member visibility, and tribe-related premium features.
Device and technical information. We may store app platform, app version, build number, timestamps, service logs, and standard network information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
Moderation and Safety
75 Him includes user-generated content. We use a combination of app controls, automated filters, moderation tools, and user reports to help keep the service safe. Profile text and obvious text inputs may be checked against a word filter. Uploaded profile photos may be checked using image moderation. If content is flagged or reported, we may review, hide, remove, block, or restrict it.
Users can report and block other users, report tribes, and long-press chat messages to report individual messages. Reports may include the reported user or tribe, the reported message or content, the reason you provide, timestamps, and related account identifiers.
How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account and profile.
- To show nearby users, local member counts, and nearby tribes.
- To let users create, join, edit, report, block, and message tribes.
- To provide group chat and private messaging features.
- To let users add friends and view added friends in the Friends tab.
- To moderate profiles, photos, tribes, users, and messages.
- To provide and verify subscriptions and paid access.
- To respond to support, safety, and deletion requests.
- To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the app.
Where Information Is Stored
Some information is stored locally on your device using iOS app storage, including UserDefaults and the app's Application Support photo directory. Backend app data is stored using Convex. Uploaded images may be stored using Cloudflare R2. Subscription processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Image moderation may use OpenAI.
Data Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the app: Convex for backend data, Cloudflare R2 for image storage, OpenAI for moderation, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and Apple for App Store purchases and system services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain safety records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. Profile photos, profile data, messages, tribes, reports, blocks, and friend/add records may be kept while your account is active.
You can delete your account in the app from Settings, then Delete Account. When backend account deletion succeeds, the app clears local profile data, photos, task history, messages, tribes, added friends, blocks, reports, and onboarding state. Deleting your account or the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Your Choices
- You can choose whether to grant camera, photo library, or location access in iOS Settings.
- You can edit profile details, social handles, interests, activities, and distance visibility in the app.
- You can report users, tribes, and messages.
- You can block users and tribes from appearing in your app experience.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can delete your account from the app settings.
Children
75 Him is intended for adults. The app requires users to be at least 18 years old. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International Use
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws different from your local laws.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above when we make material changes.
